Ottawa's Little Italy will be pedestrianized this weekend for the annual Italian Festival.

The main stage of the festivities will be Preston Street, where street parties, a car parade, and Italian music, dancing, and food will take place.

Preston Street will be closed to traffic from Carling Avenue to Somerset Street West from 12 p.m. Saturday until 1 a.m. Sunday, and from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday.

Additional parking restrictions are expected. Public transit routes may also be changed, with some buses being diverted. For more information, visit the OC Transpo website
