Armed robbery in Sharbot Lake: police are looking for two suspects

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating an armed home invasion that occurred around 1 a.m. on July 11 in Sharbot Lake, 60 kilometres west of Smiths Falls.

According to police, a man and woman armed with a knife broke into a home on Gordon Crescent and stole Sony PlayStations, musical instruments and cash. No one was injured.

The suspects fled in a silver or grey four-door vehicle before police arrived. Investigators believe the robbery was targeted and there is no threat to public safety.

The man is described as being about 175 cm tall, with a slim build, short brown hair and a light beard. The woman is about 163 cm tall, with dark brown or red hair.
