McDonald's is preparing to open a new restaurant in Old Ottawa East.

The restaurant will be located in the Milieu building at the intersection of Des Oblats Avenue and Main Street.

"We can confirm that a restaurant will be opening at this location, but we are not able to share any details at this time. More details will be available closer to the opening date," McDonald's said in a statement.

The exact opening date is not yet known.
