The exhibition "Cassatt-McNicoll: Impressionists Between Worlds" at the Art Gallery of Ontario brings together for the first time the work of two prominent impressionist artists, American Mary Cassatt and Canadian Helen MacNicoll. Their work had a profound effect on the development and spread of Impressionism in North America, where they received an artistic education, but then left for Europe to pursue art professionally. Cassatt was an early member of the Impressionist movement in Paris, and a generation later McNicoll contributed to the movement's development. Their work and the connection between the two worlds: the Old and the New Worlds, was discussed in an interview given to the correspondent of “Radio Megapolis Toronto” Marina Beregovskoy by the head of the Literary Theater “Inspiration”, the guide Mila Temyanko.
